GASCADE

GASCADE Gastransport GmbH, headquartered in Kassel, is a transmission system operator for natural gas and has been organized as an independent, fully regulated transmission system operator on the basis of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG) for the past ten years and is accordingly certified by the German Federal Network Agency. GASCADE operates a pipeline network in Germany with a length of around 2,400 km.

ESWE

ESWE Versorgungs AG is a German utility company based in Wiesbaden. The company has about 600 employees and supplies the state capital with electricity, natural gas, district heating and renewable energy.

eins energie in sachsen GmbH & Co. KG is a Saxon energy utility company based in Chemnitz. The company was formed in the summer of 2010 from the merger of Stadtwerke Chemnitz and Erdgas Südsachsen GmbH. The company supplies around 400,000 household and commercial customers with natural gas, electricity, heat, cooling and water as well as energy-related services.

All supra-regional activities of the participating Stadtwerke Bochum, Herne and Witten are assembled under the umbrella of the ewmr, the Energie- und Wasserversorgung Mittleres Ruhrgebiet GmbH. It is the first horizontal cooperation of municipal utility companies in Germany.

The Cologne-based LANXESS Aktiengesellschaft is a specialty chemicals group. The core business of Lanxess consists of developing, manufacturing and selling of plastics, rubbers, intermediate products and specialty chemicals. Lanxess has 52 production sites in 29 countries.

Mainova AG is one of the largest regional energy providers in Germany and supplies around 1 million people in Hesse and the neighboring federal states with electricity, natural gas, heat and water. Mainova AG generates its electricity in numerous wind farms and photovoltaic plants as well as in power plants that use combined heat and power (CHP).

Landeshauptstadt Wiesbaden

Wiesbaden is the capital of the state of Hesse. The executive offices for construction are the building and civil engineering departments, the environmental and the green space offices, which process more than 800 building tenders in the areas of flood protection, school buildings, day nurseries and road construction every year.

Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE) is one of the leading European transmission system operators with a 12,000 km long pipeline network. The annual output of the network is around 758 billion kWh, which is equivalent to around two thirds of German natural gas consumption. OGE’s core activities range from planning, construction and operation of the transport network to capacity management and the support of transport customers and downstream network operators as well as billing.

 

Messe Frankfurt

With around 600,000 square meters of floor space, the exhibition site in Frankfurt is the second largest fair venue in the world.

N-ERGIE Aktiengesellschaft ranks among the ten largest German electricity providers. It supplies large parts of Middle Franconia and neighboring areas with electricity and natural gas, and also the city of Nuremberg with water and district heating.

Regensburger Energie- und Wasserversorgung AG & Co KG (REWAG) is a regional energy and water utility that supplies electricity, natural gas, heat and drinking water to more than 2,000,000 private households and business customers.

RWE

With 120 years of successful history behind them, RWE has undergone fundamental change and is now a leading supplier of renewables worldwide. With wind farms, solar power and battery storage facilities in many countries. Even today, most of their core business is green electricity.

Rheinbahn

The Rheinbahn, founded in 1896 as Rheinische Bahngesellschaft AG, is the local transport company of the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital Düsseldorf. It belongs to the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Ruhr, has a rail network of about 342 km track length and carries over 214 million passengers per year.

Salzgitter Flachstahl

Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH is producing processing and selling flat steel in various metallurgical analyses and dimensions. The main customers are vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers, manufacturers of standard and large-diameter tubes, cold rollers and the building industry.

Stadtwerke Jena Group

A large number of municipal companies are working closely together, interconnected under the umbrella of the Stadtwerke Jena Group.
