Futura Solutions obtains the contract to provide thyssenkrupp rothe erde Germany GmbH with FUTURA^® Engineering

Futura Solutions has gained a new strong customer in thyssenkrupp rothe erde Germany GmbH. In future, the Dortmund-based industrial group intends to use ^FUTURA® Engineering to handle its tendering and procurement processes in plant construction in an SAP-integrated manner.

This was preceded by a preliminary project and a selection process in which Futura Solutions was able to convince thyssenkrupp rothe erde with its purchasing and procurement expertise as well as its in-depth SAP competence.

A particular requirement was a more transparent mapping of purchasing activities in the SAP system relating to construction and services using item type “D”, i. e., multi-level item lists. The central topic is time and hour recording with calculation using various surcharges. The aim is to be able to control purchasing strategies in the corresponding material groups more efficiently via the SAP system.

thyssenkrupp rothe erde primarily opted for FUTURA^® Engineering because of the high degree of (GAEB-compliant) integration in SAP and the future-proofing in the context of the upcoming transition to S/4HANA.
