FUTURA Smart is the SAP-native source-to-contract solution that functionally extends SAP S/4HANA to a complete procurement suite. The solution maps operational and strategic sourcing as well as supplier management in a continuous process – completely within the SAP business logic and without parallel data models.
Purchasers work directly at the SAP Launchpad, supported by intuitive FUTURA apps. Thanks to AI-powered features such as Requestor Assist, RFQ Maker, and Anomaly Detector, FUTURA Smart automates many manual steps and increases efficiency, transparency, and compliance in strategic purchasing.
What distinguishes FUTURA Smart from Ariba or other procurement suites?
FUTURA Smart doesn't work alongside SAP—it works with SAP. While external suites require their own data models, middleware, and synchronization logic, FUTURA Smart fully adheres to SAP's business logic.

Yes, FUTURA Smart relies on particularly simple supplier integration via Easy Access. Suppliers receive secure access to submit quotations via an e-mail link – without having to register in advance.
Suppliers can submit quotations, upload documents, ask questions, and participate in e-auctions via the web-based supplier portal. Communication is audit-proof, GDPR-compliant, and fully documented. This lowers the barrier to access and makes collaboration with suppliers significantly more efficient.
How long does the implementation of FUTURA Smart take?
