Connecting suppliers to the procurement process - fast and smart to S/4HANA
Only when the benefits of digitalization are exploited throughout the entire supply chain can an SAP Digital Core strategy be successful. For functions with direct supplier involvement, purchasing relies on a supplement to the S/4HANA Core. This can be achieved via FUTURA Network even without time-consuming onboarding.
Purchasers find new suppliers via the FUTURA Network and can send price requests or invite them to submit quotations. Suppliers use the free Supplier Portal to maintain their company data and acquire qualifications, calculate their offers, confirm the purchase order, and additionally report back their services – whether planned services via a one-time order, for example, or unplanned services via a call-off and contract.
A rapidly growing international supplier network
Energy, real estate, infrastructure and industry
Quality before quantity. 80 percent of registered and active suppliers are located in the German-speaking region. Major growth potential goes hand in hand with the expansion of our product portfolio, which benefits in particular customers from the energy, real estate, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
More visibility and better market transparency
In the future, suppliers will be able to publish their profile in the FUTURA Network for other FUTURA customers – purchaser will thus have another channel for supplier acquisition and suppliers will gain access to new customer segments.
Special segment construction and services (GAEB)
Companies with a need for services in their procurement portfolio can use FUTURA to handle construction work and services with the help of multi-level GAEB-based item lists, which is not possible via SAP Ariba Sourcing and the Fiori Apps in conjunction with S/4 HANA
Like the entire FUTURA platform, the FUTURA Supplier Portal is "made in Germany and hosted in Europe" – ensuring that data is managed and stored in compliance with GDPR.
Improve collaboration with your suppliers
Systematically identifying, evaluating and promoting suppliers is one of the core tasks of purchasing.
Via FUTURA, suppliers and service providers are integrated into your business processes in real time without media discontinuity. This means you have a close connection to your suppliers − and they to you.
Expand the circle of suppliers you know with FUTURA. Access the 60,000 suppliers who are already registered and active in FUTURA. Qualify your suppliers or the suppliers made available to you via FUTURA in case the information already stored on individual suppliers is not yet sufficient for you.
Include suppliers in the request process even on an ad-hoc basis and make collaboration efficient.
Fully automated processes
No more phone calls, faxes or e-mails for communicating with suppliers – document exchange is completely electronic.
Through real-time communication with suppliers, you receive all updates directly in your SAP system.
Strategic as well as operational integration
Suppliers are connected both strategically and operationally via the FUTURA Network, regardless of which purchasing and procurement process is used.
For the complete range of quotation processing: Material or simple services through to multi-level item lists and the special features of the GAEB XML format for service procurement.
